Each buddy has its own unique personality. You can tell a lot by the way a turtle dresses and behaves! Some of them are happy, some curious. Some of them are adventurous while others are shy. One thing we know for sure is that they are all very special and would love nothing more than to have a human buddy!

The Story so far...The main aim of the Turtle Buddies is to bring excitement to people. Today, more people are stressed and experiencing depression. The world seems like it’s at a tipping point and after years of anti-normality of a pandemic, the thought of war is more in our minds (which is a reality for many people). People are stressing consciously and subconsciously, and are experiencing burnout and more. In times like these, it's especially important to take care of yourself and your loved ones.
We want to create an environment where people can find some relief, whether it be by collecting art or by talking to other community members. Turtle Buddies’ aim is to form a community where people listen to each other when needed, or just hang together and have a laugh; to create a community of people that care about each other's well being. There already is so much tension in the world. Let's try to make it a bit more bearable for a few.
Fun fact: The Lagoon Crew, the team behind the Turtle Buddies collection, has been a part of the blockchain space for many years. In fact, it's their shared love of the technology and community that brought them together. And over the years they have developed relationships with various project teams, allowing them to branch out and collaborate with some really cool people.

* Each turtle owner will be eligible for an NFT drop at each stage. If you mint a Turtle early on, you will have more opportunities to receive an airdrop. Additionally, your chances of receiving an airdropped Turtle Buddy increases with the number of NFTs you own. You may receive an airdropped Turtle Buddy for each Turtle Buddy NFT you own; not doing so would simply encourage NFT holders to use a unique wallet for each NFT they mint or purchase.
DistributionThe Turtle Buddies collection will include 7000 unique NFTs. 200 of these NFTs will be reserved for airdrops, marketing, the development of the Turtle Buddies brand, and for the team members. A significant portion of the reserved NFTs for branding purposes. This will allow the team to development merchanise, games, and more using the imagery of these NFTs, since owners of all other Turtle Buddies NFTs will own the rights to the Turtle Buddies they own.
Pricing will be lower for primary membership compared to many other projects.

Turtle Buddies is a collection of digital artworks (NFTs) running on the Polygon network. This website is only an interface allowing participants to exchange digital collectibles. Users are entirely responsible for the safety and management of their own private Ethereum wallets and validating all transactions and contracts generated by this website before approval. Furthermore, as the Turtle Buddies smart contract runs on the Polygon network, there is no ability to undo, reverse, or restore any transactions.
This website and its connected services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind. By using this website you are accepting sole responsibility for any and all transactions involving Turtle Buddies digital collectibles.
Parties and owners involved with the Turtle Buddies NFT project will not be liable nor be held accountable in any way for any losses or damages that might occur if you decide to take part.
All information provided in this website is subject to change until the time of minting of Turtle Buddies NFTs.
OWNERSHIP
i. You Own the NFT. Each Turtle Buddy is an NFT on the Polygon blockchain. When you purchase an NFT, you own the underlying Turtle Buddy, the Art, completely. Ownership of the NFT is mediated entirely by the Smart Contract and the Polygon Network: at no point may we seize, freeze, or otherwise modify the ownership of any Turtle Buddy.
ii. Personal Use. Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms, Lagoon Labs grants you a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, and display the purchased Art, along with any extensions that you choose to create or use, solely forthe following purposes: (i) for your own personal, non-commercial use; (ii) as part of a marketplace that permits the purchase and sale of your Turtle Buddy / NFT, provided that the marketplace cryptographically verifies each Turtle Buddy owner's rights to display the Art for their Turtle Buddy to ensure that only the actual owner can display the Art; or (iii) as part of a third party website or application that permits the inclusion, involvement, or participation of your Turtle Buddy, provided that the website/application cryptographically verifies each Turtle Buddy owner's rights to display the Art for their Turtle Buddy to ensure that only the actual owner can display the Art, and provided that the Art is no longer visible once the owner ofthe Turtle Buddy leaves the website/application.
iii. Commercial Use. Subject to your continued compliance with these Terms, Lagoon Labs grants you an unlimited, worldwide license to use, copy, and display the purchased Art for the purpose of creating derivative works based upon the Art (“Commercial Use”). Examples of such Commercial Use would e.g. be the use of the Art to produce and sell merchandise products (T-Shirts etc.) displaying copies of the Art. For the sake of clarity, nothing in this Section will be deemed to restrict you from (i) owning or operating a marketplace that permits the use and sale of Turtle Buddy generally, provided that the marketplace cryptographically verifies each Turtle Buddy owner's rights to display the Art for their Turtle Buddy to ensure that only the actual owner can display the Art; (ii) owning or operating a third party website or application that permits the inclusion, involvement, or participation of Turtle Buddies generally, provided that the third party website or application cryptographically verifies each Turtle Buddy owner's rights to display the Art for their Turtle Buddy to ensure that only the actual owner can display the Art, and provided that the Art is no longer visible once the owner of the Purchased Turtle Buddy leaves the website/application; or (iii) earning revenue from any of the foregoing.
